Further to Filtrona’s announcement today of the proposed disposal of Filtrona Extrusion, Filtrona announces that a circular setting out further details of the proposed disposal and containing the notice of a general meeting of the Company to be held on 19 March 2009 has been posted to Filtrona’s shareholders today.

A copy of the circular is available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility at 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS. Copies of the circular and documents for inspection will be available for inspection at the offices of  Filtrona at Avebury House, 201-249 Avebury Boulevard, Milton Keynes MK9 1AU and at the offices of Slaughter and May at One Bunhill Row, London EC1Y 8YY, during normal business hours on any weekday up to and including the date of the General Meeting.
